7 Fearless Female Travel Bloggers

7 Fearless Female Travel Bloggers

Another marvelous day has come and gone in 2015. March 8th marked International Women’s Day, and its significance isn’t lost on us females who are exploring the world on solo journeys.

Judith Villarreal in South KoreaLast year was the first year I celebrated the holiday while abroad, and I couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed at the realization that if it weren’t for the amazing strides and obstacles women before me have faced and overcome, I wouldn’t be in the position I am: a single woman, exploring the world and chasing my dreams.

In honor of the beautiful day and celebration, I’d like to present some of the top fearless female bloggers who are out making a name for themselves as solo travelers. These women to me represent courage, ambition, and fearlessness.

Pinay Flying High

The tagline for this beautiful Filipino traveler says it all: ‘I write because I want to. I travel because I need to’. Her travels already include 4 continents and countless countries. This travel agent by day and blogger by night boasts some of Instagram’s best hotel stays and travel photos.

Passport Packed

Kiwi author, Liz, of passport packed is definitely one of the coolest and down-to-earth bloggers you’ll ever (virtually) meet. She’s got a casual tone in her writing that makes you feel like you’re just sitting down having a chat in a pub over beers while she tells you about her hilarious adventures abroad.

Be My Travel Muse

Kristin is one of the biggest voices in authentic travel. She doesn’t bounce from place to place for the sake of a pretty picture. She gives tips and tricks on how to confidently befriend locals and get into the real heart of travel.

Thread And Bones

Jessica is living proof that a person doesn’t have to drop thousands of dollars on a plane ticket to get a new perspective on life. One can explore their backyard and discover beauty in it. Her gorgeous food and architecture photography make her blog a “must-bookmark.”

Lace N Ruffles

This is probably one of my favorite blogs out there because her theme hits so close to home. Juliet authors one of the chicest and classiest travel blogs out there. She travels for beauty and it’s definitely conveyed in each of her posts.

My Several Worlds

Of course I need to add the woman who started it all for me, Carrie. Before I began my own travels, I stalked this blog daily, desperate to devour any updates on her travels abroad. Her travels around Asia have been the sole reason many women, not unlike myself, have finally gathered the courage to get our first stamp in our passports.

Shameless Plug:

Chasing Glitter

As the female author of a solo travel blog, I love seeing, writing, and photographing all things beautiful in my new world. I’ve slowly come to realize that documenting and writing about my adventures abroad is something that brings me just as much joy as the actual traveling.

Do you know any fearless female bloggers you’d like to add to the list? Share your favorite bloggers URL and a short explanation of why you adore them in a comment below!
